MYSTIC RIVER RUGBY 2nd ANNUAL WINTER BREAK U-19 TOUR - IRELAND

High School and U-19 Coaches – We still have about 5 spots open for the Mystic U-19 Ireland Tour (boys) scheduled for Feb vacation.   Last year we had boys from Mystic, Middlesex, Amoskeag, MC and the Prep.  Please forward to juniors and seniors who may be interested.  This is a great rugby opportunity as we have 3 matches scheduled, 2-3 training sessions with Irish International Coaches and we are going to watch 2 pro matches.  Heading into the spring season, this will really help prepare players to help lead their teams.  We also have financial assistance available if there is a strong rugby player who you would like to nominate.  I think that all the seniors from last year’s tour are playing college rugby this year with many at very strong national programs.   Thanks, Buzz

 Mystic River Rugby is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Winter Break U-19 Tour.  We are headed back to Ireland for the week of Feb 18-26.  If you are interested in going, please reply as soon as possible so we have your name and email on the list.  If you have questions or would like to go but are concerned about the cost, please feel free to contact me.  Here are a few important details:


1.       Date:  Depart Friday Feb 17 from Boston-Dublin and Return Feb 26 from Dublin-Boston

2.       Cost:  $1,620 per person.  Package includes uniforms, transportation, lodging, daily breakfast, 3 team dinners, sightseeing, Coaching clinics with top Irish international coaches, 3 matches, tickets to 2 Pro Rugby matches.   Sweats, kit bags, t-shirts and extras will likely be ordered.  Fundraising ideas are welcome.  Currently plan to do a raffle which could reduce each players cost by $100-$200.

3.       Payment details:  a $400 deposit is due Jan 6.  Checks can be mailed to Dave Rudzinsky 54 West St. Reading, MA 01867 or payment can be done online at http://www.mysticrugby.com/Dues/ .

4.       Passports are required.  If you do not have a passport, please go to http://travel.state.gov/passport/passport_1738.html and find out how you can get one.

5.       Mystic U-19 and Club Coaches will chaperone along with any parents interested in going.
